How to Remove the Pedestal From a Dynex LCD TV

Having a LCD TV with a built-in pedestal is convenient when you are setting the TV on a table or stand. However, if you decide that you want to mount your TV on the wall, the pedestal becomes a little less convenient. In fact, if you want to mount your Dynex LCD to the wall the pedestal has to come off altogether.

Unplug your TV from its power source.

Lay a blanket down on a table or another flat surface. This will help keep your LCD screen from getting scratched during the pedestal removal.

Lay your TV face down on the blanket.

Use the screwdriver to remove the three screws from the bottom of the pedestal.

Pull the pedestal from away from the TV.
