Fiesta makes a line of Christmas dinnerware featuring images reminiscent of the holiday season, such as Christmas trees, on many of the pieces. To arrange the Fiesta Christmas dinnerware in a place setting, utilize traditional etiquette and decorum. Traditionally, each piece of dinnerware -- from the luncheon plate to the dessert spoon -- must be positioned in its proper place. This placement often follows the pattern in which diners eat their meal, starting from the salad to the dessert. Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions
- 1
Center the largest Fiesta Holiday plate, also known as the dinner plate, in front of each chair. This plate is often a solid color.
2Place the second largest plate, also known as the luncheon plate, on top of the first. This plate often has the Christmas decor or tree on it, and therefore must be prominently displayed.
3Set the Fiesta dessert plate to the left above the plate setting. Place the bread and butter plate on top of the dessert plate.
4Place the Fiesta Christmas bowl atop of the bread and butter plate.
5Position the Fiesta holiday mug to the right, above the plate setting. Place a glass or wine glass beside the mug, to the left.
6Center the dessert spoon above the dinner plate, horizontally. Place the dessert fork horizontally above the spoon.
7Set the dinner knife to the right of the dinner plate. Position the soup and fruit spoons, in that order, to the right of the knife.
8Place the napkin in a ring and set it on the left of the Fiesta dinner plate. Position the salad fork to the left of the napkin, and the dinner fork to the left of the salad fork.
