Ottomans serve multiple functions: foot rest, seating and makeshift end table, to name a few. However, because ottomans are so useful and valuable, they are often priced accordingly. If you dont have any money, or even if you are just trying to spend less, you can have your own DIY ottoman by the end of this afternoon, by using various materials most people already have on hand. Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions
- 1
Sew the center of each of your shoe laces to the underside of your chair cushion, at four separate points close to each corner.
2Set the crate directly on top of the still turned-over cushion; the crates open side should be facing upward.
3Tie the shoe laces to the crate, going around edges of the plastic holes in the crate. Tuck in the remaining ends of the laces under the cushion. Turn the ottoman over when youve completed the tie process; its ready to use.
